Philips 24" 230CI 1080p Monitor USB PVR?

okay so it doesn't mention anything on the instruction manual about this monitor having a Personal Video Recording built in but it is a fairly new model and it has both USB output and USB input, does anybody know that if I can record my PS3 gameplay (plugged in through HDMI on the monitor) onto my Toshiba 1TB external Hard drive? I'd be very grateful if someone can help me out here.
