Hunters: Has anybody in the US encountered "Eldest Son" ammo?

I worked with a retired marine, Force Recon in Vietnam 3 tours. He told me about booby trapping all sorts of ordnance, ammo, mortars, bombs, claymores, with the sole intention of greasing as many slopes as possible. Your story reminded me of one he told me that coincides almost verbatim with the events.
