HOW DO I OPEN MY SUN/MOON ROOF IN MY 04 NISSAN MAXIMA?

i had just bought a used car today and i couldn't figure out how to open the sunroof/moonroof, there isn't any obvious buttons that shows a picture of a sunroof. and i searched the whole car and looked up and down the manual and it shows what the button looked like but not where it was located...i was told my friend that it doesn't open but ive seen them open. an illustration would be great but i would be very pleased with a detailed answer. thanks so much for any info
