First Time Photography Camera?

I have a Coolpix L110. It's supposed to be a really good beginner's camera! I just became involved with photography last year, and I love it! It gets really clear, crisp pictures, and it's about $250! :) The only thing I would say that I don't like about it, is that it doesn't have an eye hole! Those are good for up close pictures. :/ Also, my camera's a Nikon. I think Canon's are better, but they are also more expensive. Hope I helped! :)
